Description:  The AgriCompetitiveness Program aims to help the agricultural sector to leverage, coordinate and build on existing capacity, enhance safety, adapt to changing commercial and regulatory environments, seize new opportunities, share best practices, and provide mentorship opportunities.
 
AgriMarketing Program
Description:  AgriMarketing Program: Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Component provides targeted support to companies for international initiatives. Under this component, funding will be available to help implement international export plans, which include promotional and market development activities.
 
Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)
Description:  BDC actively supports the development and growth of Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises through its complementary financing, venture capital and consulting services.
 
Canada Small Business Financing Program - Industry Canada
Description:  The program's main objectives are to help new businesses get started and established firms make improvements and expand, to improve access to loans that would not otherwise be available to small businesses, to stimulate economic growth and create jobs.
 
Celebrate Ontario
Description:  Celebrate Ontario provides project-based funding to new or existing Ontario events to enhance programs, activities and services and support innovations that will lead to long-term improvements, sustainability and the attraction of additional tourists.
 
Community Futures Program - Ontario
Description:  FedNor's Community Futures (CF) Program, supports 24 Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) in Northern Ontario. CFDCs offer a wide variety of programs and services supporting community economic development and small business growth.

Description:  Financing, mentoring and support tools to aspiring business owners aged 18-39.
 
Investment Ready: Certified Site Program
Description:  Through the Investment Ready: Certified Site program, you can benefit from financial and international marketing support, as well as an Investment Ready: Certified Site designation once you complete a set of requirements for an eligible property.
 
Jobs and Prosperity Fund: Food and Beverage Growth Fund
Description:  This fund is available for food and beverage processing, and bioproduct projects across the province with more than $5 million in eligible costs.
 
Ontario Emerging Technologies Fund - Ontario Capital Growth Corporation
Description:  To leverage private sector capital in clean technology, life sciences and advanced health technologies, digital media and information and communications technology sectors.
 
Starter Company
Description:  Professional mentoring to start and expand a business in Ontario - open to Ontario residents, 18-29, not attending school full time.
 
Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI) - Industry Canada
Description:  Firms, organizations or institutions may apply for investments assistance repayable over the long term in conducting R&D in eligible aerospace and defence technologies.
 
Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) - Industry Canada
Description:  The Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) provides non-repayable contributions in support of large-scale technology demonstration projects in the aerospace, defence, space and security sectors.

Description:  Technical advisory services, networking and financial assistance to SMEs.
 
Ontario Centres of Excellence Inc.
Description:  Covers three key areas: Industry-Academic R and D Collaboration; Commercialization; and Entrepreneurship. Other key OCE initiatives are the IBM Smart Computing Initiative and Colleges Ontario Network for Industry Innovation (CONII).
 
Ontario Research Fund - Research Excellence (ORF-RE)
Description:  The Ontario Research Fund - Research Excellence (ORF-RE) provides research institutions with funding to help support the operational costs of large-scale transformative research of strategic value to the province.

Description:  The OMDC Film Fund is designed to increase the level of domestic film production in Ontario by providing support to Ontario producers for feature film projects in the final stages of development and production financing.
 
Film or Video Production Services Tax Credit (PSTC)
Description:  Tax credit designed to enhance Canada as a location of choice for film and video productions employing Canadians, as well as to strengthen the industry and secure investment.
 
Industry Development Program - Ontario Media Development Corporation
Description:  Ontario Media Development Corporation provides support to Ontario's cultural entrepreneurs by partnering with established trade and event organizations to offer initiatives, events and activities that stimulate the growth of the cultural media industries.
 
Interactive Digitial Media Fund (IDM) - Ontario Media Development Corporation
Description:  Successful applicants are eligible to receive a non-refundable contribution to create a market-ready interactive digital media content product.
 
Ontario Book Publishing Tax Credit (OBPTC)
Description:  Tax credit for Ontario publishing companies to publish and promote works by a Canadian author.
 
Ontario Computer Animation and Special Effects Tax Credit (OCASE)
Description:  Ontario tax credits for computer animation and special effect activities in film or TV productions.
 
Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit (OFTTC)
Description:  Ontario refundable tax credit for film and video productions.
 
Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit
Description:  Ontario refundable tax credit for labour, marketing and distribution expenditures for the creation of interactive digital media products.
 
Ontario Production Services Tax Credit (OPSTC)
Description:  Ontario refundable tax credit for qualifying labour expenditures for those productions that do not meet the Canadian content requirements.

Conservation Fund
Description:  The Conservation Fund provides financial support to new and innovative electricity conservation initiatives designed to enable Ontario's residents, businesses and institutions to cost-effectively reduce their demand for electricity.
 
Feed-in Tariff Program - Ontario Power Authority
Description:  Procurement program that guarantees specific prices for various forms of renewable electricity production sources, including on-shore wind, hydroelectric, solar, biogas, biomass and landfill gas.
 
Save on Energy
Description:  Businesses across Ontario can benefit from an array of programs offered throughout the province. There are energy-efficiency programs to assist organizations from the smallest of retail stores to the largest industrial complexes.

Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC)
Description:   International contracting agency provides export-related assistance in military sales and Canadian commitments for international assistance.
 
Export Development Canada
Description:  A crown corporation that offers financing, credit insurance and bonding solutions to Canadian exporters.
 
Export Market Access - A Global Expansion Program
Description:  A 50/50 cost-sharing grant to help Ontario SMEs cover costs incurred to develop export sales in foreign markets, predominately outside the US.
 
Investment Accelerator Fund (IAF)
Description:  The Investment Accelerator Fund (IAF) helps accelerate the growth of new technology companies being established in Ontario and positions them for further investment by angels and venture capitalists.
 
Ontario Exporters Fund
Description:  The Export Manager Program has been established to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to become export ready and help them gain/increase access to international export markets. The program is an initiative of the Province of Ontario and administered by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.

Apprenticeship Job Creation Tax Credit - Canada Revenue Agency
Description:  A non-refundable tax credit equal to 10% of the eligible salaries and wages payable to eligible apprentices in respect of employment after May 1, 2006.
 
Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit (ATTC) - Ministry of Finance
Description:  A refundable tax credit available to employers who hire and train apprentices in certain skilled trades.
 
Canada Summer Jobs
Description:  Contributions for employers to hire students during the summer.
 
Canada-Ontario Job Grant
Description:  Canada-Ontario Job Grant (the Job Grant) provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforce, with help from the government.
 
Canadian Institutes of Health Research
Description:  Major federal health research funding agency for universities, hospitals and research institutes.
 
Concierge Service - Government of Canada
Description:  Concierge Service is the place where Canadian SMEs (Small or Medium-sized Enterprises) can find information and guidance to access government programs and resources in support of business innovation.
 
Cooperative Education Tax Credit (CETC)
Description:  A refundable tax credit available to employers who hire students enrolled in a co-operative education program at an Ontario university or college. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) administers the program on behalf of Ontario through the federal income tax.
 
Employer Signing Bonus - Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
Description:   A monetary bonus for an employer who hires and registers an apprenticeship scholarship candidate as an apprentice.

Description:  The Youth Employment Fund is part of the Ontario government's new Youth Jobs Strategy, which is helping 30,000 young people across the province get work experience, start a business or build job skills.

Description:  IBI provides mentorship, entrepreneurial support and financing to help new businesses grow and succeed. The initiative is designed to foster a more competitive southern Ontario economy by focusing on providing business support to new entrepreneurs.
 
Investing in Commercialization Partnerships (ICP) - FedDev Ontario
Description:  ICP funding is available to the following organizations for business-led projects that focus on bringing new ideas to market - publicly-funded colleges and universities and not-for-profit organizations located in southern Ontario.
 
Investing in Regional Diversification (IRD) - FedDev Ontario
Description:  IRD is open to incorporated not-for-profit organizations located in southern Ontario whose mandate includes economic development.
 
Scientists and Engineers in Business Initiative
Description:  Scientists and Engineers in Business is designed to help improve the business and management skills of entrepreneurs in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields by improving access to financing and/or providing business support.
 
Southwest Ontario Development Fund
Description:  The Southwestern Ontario Development Fund gives money to businesses, municipalities and not-for-profit organizations for economic development in southwestern Ontario.
